Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) has instructed Congress may withhold funding from the Meals and Drug Administration (FDA) if the Biden administration ignores a courtroom ruling that suspended approval of the controversial abortion capsule mifepristone.
Final Friday, a federal decide in Texas issued a preliminary injunction undoing the FDA’s approval of mifepristone nationwide. In the meantime, a separate ruling issued in Washington state could limit the scope of the injunction in Texas.
