When Nikki Haley, the previous South Carolina governor and United Nations ambassador, introduced her marketing campaign for the Republican presidential nomination in February, she remarked that the Republican Get together had “misplaced the favored vote in seven out of the final eight presidential elections.” That, she stated, “has to vary.”
