MSNBC’s analysts and hosts raised concerns about Republicans investigating intelligence agencies. They were referring to possible investigations by the Republicans, which would have been in response to passage of a House select committee. It was clear that any such probes could be considered seditious.

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives approved a resolution establishing a Judiciary Subcommittee that will review how the executive branch collected and investigated information about American citizens.
