BOSTON – After complaining about the high cost of special education, a Massachusetts Democrat official is being asked to resign.
Framingham Democratic Committee rejected a Sunday motion that would have allowed it to discuss the resignation of Michael Hugo as chair at its March meeting.
The vote came down 11 in favor, 16 against and one abstaining after more than an hour of discussion over Hugo’s remarks.
