EAGLE PASS, Texas – Alabama’s newest U.S. senator has spent more time at the southern border than on Capitol Hill during her brief time in office.
Standing in front of Uvalde, Texas, Sen. Katie Britt stated, “The people of Alabama didn’t elect me to allow grass to grow under my feet.” They elected me to come in and do something.
Britt visited Washington, D.C., Jan. 3, to be sworn into the U.S. Senate. A delegation of senators joined Britt the following week.
