Sexual assault survivors may be traumatized once more when testifying years later, specialists say.

On Wednesday, E. Jean Carroll, who informed a Manhattan jury that former President Donald J. Trump raped her in a division retailer, mentioned she was attempting to get her “life again” and grew emotional as she spoke almost 30 years after the occasions she described.
