The Department of Transportation has been pointing fingers for weeks after an Ohio train crash that resulted in the destruction of a large number of railroad tracks and in the release of dangerous chemicals.
It is unclear if safety standards and work are met, as well as whether cost-cutting measures were responsible for this year’s derailment in East Palestine, Ohio and other states.
